Music has always been a part of DJ E-SONIC (started as Dj Samson) hislife, it's his passion!
It all started when he and his older cousins joined as a dance group, performing in the well known clubs at that time, suchas Metropool and Palace. Music is everything to him, it's his life.He wakes up with music, goes to sleep with music and can't drive his car without music turned on, whether it's a CD or the radio station providing him with good vibes.
To E-SONIC his opinion music determines your mood of the day. Listening to ballads when you're in a romantic mood; the old school Motownclassics (which he secretly listened to when his mom would play those records). Or something up-tempo when you are in a more active mood.
E-Sonic has been spinning records on a professional level for six years now. At first he started out with playing R&B. After a little while he broadened his musical horizon and came to the conclusion that his favorite styles to play are Club House, Latin House and old school classic like 80's disco and New Jack Swing.
E-Sonic already scored a Dutch Top100 hit (Latina Poku), multiple Dance-Tunes top30 hits and a Dance-Tunes number one hit (Lobby).
In the same year E-Sonic started his own label togheter with Louis Bailar ''BoothFunk Records'' where ESonic released some of their own tracks and other artists.
For E-Sonic there is changed a lot since he spin on the most well known clubs in Holland like : Jimmy Woo, Hotel Arena, Club Rain, Marcanti, The Powerzone, Of Corso, Thalia Lounge, Palace,Sinners, Zebra Lounge,Bloomingdale, Panama, Nox ,Storm, The Mansion and many more and also at the biggest events, like : Reason, The Boulevard, Irrisme,Club Wild, Latino Grooves, Soixante-Neuf, Zu-Hause and Industry of House, but also in other countries(Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary).
Also E-Sonic dropped his own event SUPERSONIC last Queensday this year!
The Queensday Block Festival edition was a big success and the club edition two weeks later,was a great succes also! At bold editions the line up was killing with artists like : Irwan,Carlos Barbosa (partner in crime with the SuperSonic event), Lucky Charmes and many more.In 2010 E-Sonic will go next level with his worthy productions featuring vocalists like 88 Bricks and MC V.I, where they now focus on melody lines and chord schemes.
